Position Summary: The Facilities Mechanic assists in servicing and maintaining facilities equipment.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Servicing and maintaining facilities equipment as follows--

• Air Conditioners, exhausts, and roof maintenance.
• Electrical (changing bulbs, ballasts, switches, plugs, and circuit breakers pull wire).
• Plumbing (toilets, faucets, and pipes new lines).
• Patch and paint walls, interior and exterior, as needed.
• Humidifiers (filters, cleaning, repairs, etc.).
• Air Compressors (oil, draining water, filters, etc.).
• Overhead Doors dock levelers.
• Warehouse Equipment (forklifts, electric and hydraulic pallet jacks shrink wrap, and wrapper stepping unit).
• Production equipment including trouble shooting and repairs.
• Press and Cutter (some repairs).
• Lunchroom equipment, repairs as needed.
• Office equipment, repairs as needed.
• Furniture repair, fabrication, and assembly.
• Pick up parts.
• Data and communication lines, pull punch down and repair.
• Output Chemicals (replenish and replace).
• Furniture and equipment, moving and handling.
• R O system maintenance.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Assist at vendor installs as needed. Mandatory Qualifications:
  • Mechanical skills.
  • Ability to work on a flexible work schedule when facility issues arise.
  • Prepared to use tools and equipment while following safety procedures. Preferred Qualifications:
    • Ability to work in a team environment. Physical Requirements:
      • Must be able to lift 50lb.
      • Able and willing to climb ladders.
        
        The national pay range for this role is $28.00/an hour. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission, or incentive program.
